Default Mark, all the info available so far is for the European version.

At this point it's anyone's guess what we'll get in the states. Stay tuned...

Yes, 3.2 FSI 6-speed will be made but obviously nothing has been set in stone for America yet.

Default They mention it as part of the equipment, but whether we will get it here.........

Time to start writing (real paper) letters to AoA, requesting that we see the manual transmission as an option. Knowing what the Germans think of American drivers, and knowing that AoA tends to be a wee bit conservative, if you don't raise a ruckus, we will never see it.

AoA has to send yearly projections of sales volume to VAG. They break it down by body, engine, and trans. Then they need to decide which features to make standard (over and above Europe), and which options to offer (that can work here). They gather up all this data/order and hand it over to Germany, who then decides exactly what and how many we will get for the next model year.

So you need to offer input early and in a way that makes the most impact. That means indicating you are a long time Audi fan (list previous Audis) and would like to see certain options in your next Audi.
