Default If you are happy with it now....

Why **** with it? Bigger wheels and other shtuff is just going to mess with your handling.

For a DD and all.

Default So leave it alone then!

In any case, dont make it worse, just 'cuz it looks like a traditional roadster that way

I however, enjoy a good handling daily driver.

Default It's a fashion statment, the M3/AMG/Mustang look.

No effect on traction, increased understeer, .8% difference in tire circumference may be adding wear to quattro system. The fronts are actually "larger" than rears. I don't know how much differance is too much. Good Luck.

Default oh so that staggered setup I posted actually is larger in the front?

and isnt that bad then? Im going to buy it tonight hopefully as soon as I get all my info out of the way. I read that some staggered setups are better than other meaning it wont hurt the car or at least not as much, so you're saying the one I listed isnt actually that bad and only has a .8% difference and the understeer wont be affected since I will have larger in the front?

Default It's a larger circumference but narrower tire so understeer will increase...

If you are not a racer I say go for it.

Default when you say racer, meaning like track racing....etc

So the setup I posted is actually pretty good and wont really harm the car, ABS, Traction, quattro, trans??? Aside from the understeer

I'm not an Audi tech but if you like it...go for it. I think it will work.

Default ^^^^ VD, I think I'd ask yourself if it's work the risk. Those components you mentioned

aren't exactly cheap. The money you're saving on the wheels (w/your good deal) doesn't even come close to the cost of repairing a screwed up differential. KIWINI-RI's general endorsement (no offense KIWINI-RI) wouldn't be enough to justify going ahead with the staggered setup... Just my .02!
