system was cheap...a_o_smith asked if he should just buy a cheap computer...my answer to that question is yes. I spent $200+ for the most powerful tool in my tool box...My lap-top computer with Vag-Com and bentley...

I work for Apple, and it's pretty unlikely that anyone would rewrite the VAG-COM software for OS X.

Check out this dude's setup, it rocks. I would never take my nice mac laptop into a greasy garage environment anyway.
