I have had the same guy tint, with film, 8 of my last 11 cars! He has charged me $140 per car for the last 10 years. I can't own a car without it anymore. I can have, according to state law, 20% in rear windows and 35% in front windows. I have had that a time or two. Depends on the car, visibility issues, and the interior color, IMHO. I found the 20% in the rears too dark on one of my most recent cars. I also happen to live where there are very few lights at night and the darker windows get REAL dark in that situation. So I now have 35% all the way around in the Audi and 20% in just the very back window and 35% on the sides of my Dodge Intrepid. Just had my son's car tinted this last weekend, little Mazda for $125. Get the 3m lifetime if you plan on owning the car for more that 2 years.
