Default Window Tinting questions

I'm thinking of using the Onyx black tint (35%) on my windows. Has anyone had problems with AM radio reception with this tint? It's Madico Onyx Black metallic tint.

TIA

Default That that brand, but I have no AM radio since I got my tint.

FM is still good.

Default Metallic vs. non-metallic

Everyone with metallic tint says they lose AM reception. Here in SW Virginia, few of the tint shops use metallic - they don't like the appearance. When I was looking at tints, I found it a little confusing as to the substantive difference between metallic and non-metallic tints - I'm not sure it would be accurate to say that the metallic tints are "better", even though they are usually pricier. Just make sure you get the look you want.

Also, if you do satellite radio, you'll have to roof or trunk mount the antenna - can't work through tinted glass.
