Default Windshield fluid leaking on both sides as I try to use the headlight washers..I STFA and found

that its either a busted tank or pump.
BUT, my front bumper was removed and repainted last year and I did not confirm if "the goons" attached the headlight washer hoses.
Can someone point me to where they may have unhooked the hoses. Do I have to remove the bumper or the wheel liner?

Default My Guess...

Unfortunately, I think the best way to be sure is to remove the front bumper- there are 2 or 3 hose connections behind there. On the A6, I don't think it's too tough to remove. If you remove the bumper, there is no need to remove the wheel wells.

Simple. Takes about 10 minutes to do it... Do you have a bentley manual?

Default It's not too hard- I think...

IIRC, all you have to do is remove the belly pan and the there's 6 10mm bolts that hold the bumper to the fender. My experience has shown that you raise the car, remove the pan, lower the car, and remove the bumper- the WWP hoses and wires to the fogs are too short to reach the bumper if it's resting on the ground

Default Your body repaint "goons" probably did not realize that there are O-rings sealing between the...

head lite washer units and the rigid plastic interconnect tubing on the back side of the bumper cover. The only flex rubber tubing is on the drivers side between the body reservoir plumbing and the bumper plumbing.
