Just a fyi. You need to use the search function otherwise you are going to get some "flack" on here.
This is a pretty common problem on these cars. I am assuming that it is unlikely that all the window motors are dead, so it is probably your switch unit on the drivers door. These are pretty expensive, but you can buy them on eBay new for about $50 (that's where I got mine).
Hope that helps.

Fine i received the auid switches for the drivers door. know my pasenger window and drivers window goes up slow and most of the time comes to a slow crawl and then stops half way up. now on the drivers side i have to push it up! Any idea what this can be?

have you tried to hold the lock/unlock window button on the driver side while asking somebody to press the other window switch? If it is magically work, your master switch is bad (the unlock/lock window button)

That is likely to be broken window guides, not the electrical components. Search on window guides for more info. and posts Requires you to take window frame unit out of each affected door to get at. Common A6 problem, especially the front windows. Audi did a parts improvement on this sometime after 2000, and there is an old Audi Technical Service Bulletin about it somewhere.

first see if the passenger door switches get it to work. If so, it is the driver's door switch module that controls all windows. If it still doesn't work, look variously at fuses (the ones in the side panel of the dashboard when you open the driver's door), at window motors in the affected doors, and at the window guides. Per my post below, if the windows move in both directions at all (even if slowly or just a little distance), it is probably not either electrical nor the window motors. Rather, it is likely the window guides that keep the window aligned to the overall door/window frame as the window goes up and down.

Your window guides are broken--a mechanical part. If your windows are moving at all, it is almost certainly NOT electrical.
If you don't know what I am talking about, use the search function.
