I just purchased 2 Bosch Icon wipers blades to replace on my 2003 A6 Avant. After removing the original style blade I discovered how completely different the design of the OEM blades are. These are not the U style attachment that the Icons come with. Besides getting the blades from the stealership anybody know a good source I can get the right blades?
Thanks for the help.

they're relatively cheap from the dealer...they're cut to length for the rear wiper blade and direct replacement for the fronts on my 02 S6.
The dealer parts list doesn't list them as fitting the front blades...Audi replaces the entire assembly at the end of the arm.
The inserts are picky to install...I use a small cable tie to hold the back end of the metal stiffeners onto the insert while I start the front ends into the wiper blade holder...when you get the insert/stiffeners into the blade holder almost all the way you can clip off the cable tie and drag the insert all the way into the clip.
YMMV.

I was wondering the same thing. I went to my local NAPA and they told me I had to go to the dealer to get my replacement wipers.
There has to be another option, because the dealers charges an arm and a leg.
Thanks,

The A6 uses a "curved" pass. side wiper. Regular wipers dont work as well...I got a set of PIAA oem wipers from TireRack.com shipped for bout $50 bucks. Kinda pricey but there the best wipers ive owned and ive tried most, and they fit exactly.
