Hello,
I needed to buy some stuff from ecs, and thinking I should get wiper blades to save on shipping.
How do I know if mine are aero blades or regular, for my 2004 A6 2.7T?
From what I read on the forum if they are aero the only place u can get them is the dealer?
Any other place u can get them locally, auto parts stores?
Thk

if you go to the dealer, make sure you don't have to buy the entire assembly.
on my S6 they tried to sell me the entire assembly for the front two blades....It seems that the rear wiper blade is cut to fit (use the metal splines on the OEM blade on the new refill) but the uncut refill is also used on the front wiper blades!!!
You need to maybe use a small cable tie on one end of the wiper refill to hold the thin metal splines to the refill while you thread the other end(s) into the wiper blade holder. When you get to the end where the cable ties are by then you can cut the cable tie off and finish sliding the refill in.

"Bosch 3397118933 Aerotwin Original Equipment Replacement Wiper Blades - Set 22"/22""
Amazon.com $32 for a pair plus shipping, only one difference regaurding the plastic tail section. I can live with that vs. the bend over stealership price

I bought the RAin-X Latitude and there is not an adapter to fit the 2003 A6 2.7T. The instruction said our car has small J-hook but it doesnt. I think I will get the Bosch OEM replacement 3397118933 from Amazon.

Can you tell me if your C5 has the j-hook? Maybe my car has the updated or out-dated arm?

Yes, all my cars have J-hooks.
And there was a plastic piece that snapped on. 'twas long ago (2 years?) that i replaced them so i dont recall all the details. Normal latitudes from wal-mart.
