Stock has 45mm offset with a 7" wide rim. I think that the 43mm offset on a 8" wide rim is okay to clear the brakes calipers, but before you spend the money, call Gary at the Tire Rack. He knows what wheels fit what, and was a good source for consulting about fitment of wheels.
I was considering 17" 9-spoke RS4 wheels that were 17x7.5 with 43mm offset, and I was told that they would have been okay. I went with Avus wheels so my car would not mimic the new S-Line.
Good luck!
