Would it be a good idea to put H-sport sway bars on a 2000 A6 2.8q?

Default I do believe they will fit without a problem.

I just ordered a set and although I have a 2.7T just wanted to make dure that there wasn't any issues with build periods, here is the response I got from mark Hotchkis :

Not lame at all and sorry for the tardy reply. If you have not already
had your question answered, yes the bars will fit MY 2000 A6s and some
even earlier if the following is the case with your A6:

If you look under either front right or front left corner from the
corner bumper area, you will see the sway bar end popping out from the
aero pan (plastic) and attach itself to the end link. Where this
attachment occurs will determine whether they will fit or not. They
will fit if the hardware attaching the end link to bar is a bolt with a
nut. They will not work if the bar is attached via a pressed-in stud
without a washer. That simple.

The attached pic shows the HSport bar installed using the stock bolt
minus the nut because the bolt threads directly into the bar end. This
action is not possible if the end link hardware is a stud because there
is no way to turn it.

With that said, any '98+ A6 Quattro can use our bars if the owner
chooses to purchase the 2000+ end links with 2 bolts.

Please contact me if you have further questions. We'd be happy to
answer them as quickly as we can.
Thank you.

So I hope that helps.
