Good advice. Thanks. It's getting close to that time to move on. Yes, my V70R still has some good value left and I'd like a newer car in the $10K range for an '02-'04. I might look at the allroad or even stick with volvos (although I've had a ton of them and am ready for a change)

Is the 2.7T that bad of an engine? Not many allroad 4.2 out there.

I might consider the allroad 2.7. Good choice? Any years to avoid?
How about that leveling system? That sort of worries me.

the consensus seems to be that the 2.7T engine is OK but has some issues...less so than the 4.2 V8 engine which is more expensive.

What to do....???? I really wish the A6 Avant 3.0 was a reliable car/engine.
