Wow! Those Champion Racing RS6's are something else...
...who saw the Sears Point race shown on Speed today?
Pobst went from 5th to 3rd in the first 1.0 seconds of the race and would have moved up to 1st in the first 3.0 seconds of the race had he not been boxed in by and bounced off of the guys on the front row. Then coming out of every corner, the RS6's would instantly pull at least a half dozen car lengths on everything on the track. Their heavy weight though slowed them down in the corners and really killed them under braking, making for a not so great race result on a handling track like Sears Point. But it was amazing to watch those beasts launch out of the corners and leave the other racecars like they were sitting still! If all goes as it seems it should, they should clean up at Road America.
