Just looked through the Subaru WRX option list. After adding $3000 17" wheels and $1800 suspension kit it came to $35K. It comparable to S4 (price wise...)
What happened to the "no options" $24K rally car?

I didn't see a 17" wheel option or a suspnsion upgrade but even if yo add thse you are looking at around $30,000 not $35k. Maybe these options were ftermarket or out of the WRX accessories catalog. I am not interested in a WRX but it does seem to givelots of go for not much money. Of course a Camaro will also give you great performance for the dollar and I don't want one of those either. I guess people sometimes compare WRX to the S4 because they both have 4wd and turbo. I'm sure Chuck540 would agree that anyone considering the 540 or M5 should consider a Camaro since they all have V8 powerand RWD and somewhat similar performance.

I think it is good looking for starters. I also just love how Subaru actually managed to ship a good very high powered AWD wagon to the public for a low price. It handles pretty well too (doesn't stop so well).
A friend has one and I love it. They even have the same head unit (different face) as the Audis.
The car is a steal, and more importantly it forces other Japanese car companies to bring their hot cars here. Remember when the EVO VII comes here that it wouldn't have it Subaru hadn't brought the WRX.
Now we need some US rally racing.
