Zaino may be excellent for some, but for my Nemo Blue I found a real magic product: Sonax (long)

Nope! Downside up! According to Zaino you should avoid circular motions

Default The key is in the application process...........

as well as in the look and feel of the product. April is very knowledgable about most things automotive, but paint not being "compatible" with silicone oil just isn't true. Crisco, margarine, and Pledge can all be applied to any paint. It'll look great.....for a while! And it certainly won't damage any paint finish; German, Italian, English, or other. My question is that if the product is "greasy" as you stated in your post, what do you attribute that to? Grease = oil. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that you got great results. I want to read your comments down the road regarding the durability of the finish. Heck Andre, based on your excellent posts here, I'll try the product myself next Spring, based on your results.

Default I'll keep you updated. Summer has started on this side of the

hemisphere, so if Sonax is no good it won't last. In fact as our VW pick-up truck stays outside 90% of the time the deterioration should be quicker.
Note that with Zaino (Z1+Z3, + 2 times Z3), on that pick-up truck it only lasted six weeks and it was not even summertime, but we do have a lot of sun in winter.
Also Zaino has been great on my son's silver A3, in fact not just great, stunning.
Regarding the greasy bit, the same applies with Zaino if you put too much or try to remove it before it's bone dry
