05 3.2 tranny issues
It seems my tranny is giving me some issues. Hesitates to up shift between gears. I have to actually let off a little to get it to up shift otherwise it feels like im in triptronic mode and have forgotten to shift. When i push hard on the gas looking for a big down shift it doesnt seem to grab at all after about 4000 rpm it feels like the torque converter just shuts off and does not grab at all. I can feel it jolting a bit and grabbing in little spirts makes it feel like its miss firing almost. I had some issues with the engine but replacement of the hpfp and a carbon clean seem to have cleared that up. Now that i have hp it is odvious that the trans has some sort of issue. I bought it this way and ghere for have no knowledge of how or when the issue developed. Any input would be much appreciated thank you all

I came to realize this morning when i tried to start it that it has major issues since the carbon clean and new fuel pump. Its missing on cylinders big time and idle is all over the map. Stinks of fuel while running and skipping beats while driving. Esp light has been on and off during all of this. I dont know what to think anymore. I took it to a mechanic which is pretty last resort for me.

the mechanic said that the tranny issue im having is often caused by bad throttle sensors of some veriaty. Either way most of the issue was that injector 1 was leaking at the rail. I reused the old o rings as i could not easily get new ones. He is going to replace the injector seals and go from there. He had some good leads into some of the issues but for now nothing can be adressed until it gets the seals. It high milage car almost 200,000 miles but its been dealer mantained since day 1 and theres no way you could tell by looking at the car unless u looked at the dash lol
