Hey guys -- my wife drives our 2005 A6 3.2 q... we love the car. Just detailed it this weekend and it looks almost brand new still.

But a question... I drove it yesterday... and even when setting the AC on "LO" (its 95 degrees here) it seems like the volume of air output from the fan / panel vents / etc just isnt as much as it used to be. The air is ice cold, its more the speed of the air coming out. I of course got it up to the highest speed (12?) manually and switched to the dash vents only thinking it was just the auto climate settings, but still... its just not alot of wind coming out of the vents. Or as much as it used to be.

Does this car have maybe a pollen filter or something that clogs up? We did recall about a month ago on a trip feeeling like the ventilation fan was making a weird noise... like when my land rover fan got some water stuck in it.

Its not a horrible thing, it just used to blast (enough to make my wife's long hair blow in the wind)... and now it doesn.t

Ideas?

Sounds like its choking for air. Try replacing the cabin air filter behind the glove box if I recall correctly
