I have a 05 A6 4.2 with a Treo 650 and I got it to sync but once it syncs the Treo reboots. Any ideas??

When you say it Syncs - how much Syncs ? Everything from Missed Calls etc to the whole phonebook ?

As to rebooting is that when you get back in the car after leaving ?

It downloads missed calls, received call etc.. Has not stayed powered up long enough to load up the phone book. It seems like the transfer of all the info causes it to reboot. I have not gotten out of the car and tried to sync it up yet.

I'm just about to get the Treo as well through Cingular and am eager to hear how it works for you...

The Treo doesn't sync with the A6. Bluetooth downloads the call log and the six or seven pages of programmed numbers: not your contacts. If it's resetting, ther's some other problem. If you have Sprint, make sure you have the updates.

Don't just get the carkit update. Download the ver 1.08 update from PalmOne, which also includes the carkit update.

If the Treo 650 is resetting itself, have Sprint bench test it. Some of them have been replaced for this reason.

My Treo works great with my A6. I seldom take it out of the belt holster when driving. BT connects quickly and incoming calls are routed through the MMI.

You probably read this already but, simply remove the "more" characters (i.e. VM passwords) from your favorites buttons and it syncs fine without restarting.
