07/08 S6 LED Daytime Running Lights
Does anyone know how or if it is possible to have the LED daytime running lights stay on at night while the Headlights are on? I know that the lights are capable of goin dim because when you turn the car off at night and the "Leaving Home" lights come on the LED running lights are dimmer than during the day. I spoke with the dealership and they are looking for the prgramming code to change this...does anyone know?

There is a "display" code that apparently can do this,
I've been told it is set by the last digit in the convenience module being changed to "1". I do not know from personal experience, as my Canadian S6 does not have the LED lights.

Thanks, I'm just curiuous, did you hear that from Audi? The chief mechanic at my dealership thought it was bit switch, but wasn't sure which one. I'll check into it.

Skapan, can you find out from your source which display code it is? Apparently there are about 100 or so display codes in the Convenience Module. My mechanic said smething about an "Adaptation Level" in the software. Needs to know where to look.

Yes, from an Audi tech, the central electronics module
code 115121 or 115111, one of them makes it selectable from the MMI, he says. This is a code change, not bits so it's easy to reverse. I have not tried it, so make sure you write down your current settings before you change anything. Let me know if and how it works.

It worked. I just had the dealerhsip make the coding change and I now have my LED Running Lights on with my headlights.
