My 07 A6 currently has a P0016 code Bank 1: Camshaft Position Sensor (G40) / Engine Speed Sensor (G28): Incorrect Correlation. I know there are many posts on this, but is it fair to say the solution seems to be all over the map?
The car is at the shop now and below are the codes. I'm trying not to panic. Although a timing issue, I'm assuming it isn't a broken guide or tensioner because I haven't been hearing any rattling or odd noises at start up.

With the rough idle there are misfires on 1, 5 , 4. Are the locations of these misfires important to my code? These are actually the first 3 cylinders in order that the car fires the engine. Does this mean anything? Does it mean anything the cylinders are on opposite sides?
