I've noticed that the back of the drivers seat in my 2008 A6 3.2 is always warm when driving. Granted, the weather has been hot, I noticed that the other seating surfaces are cool to the touch. It feels like the drivers seat heater is always on despite the car telling me the heaters are off.

I did some research online and came across a few people who claimed this is a known issue with the A6 and that there was actually a recall for it years ago.

Does anyone have any information? I could just pull the fuse, but would rather get it fixed correctly. However, I'm not even sure it would be covered under a CPO warranty...
