just curious gang. will the 09 A6 sedan tail lights fit onto the 05-08 A6? i know it has that extra trunk lid light. i'm just wondering if the main piece will fit properly because I would love to modify those tail lights to work on my 06 A6. also if they'll clip directly into the current wiring harness? =)

At least a couple of people have done it. I think there was a guy from Spain who posted many pics of his moded C6.

You will need a new bumper though. The lights, which are LEDs, are quite expensive as well. Not sure you want to spend that kind of money for looks.

but you have replace both the inner and outer tail lights, trunk lid, rear bumper and lower valence. so its about 1500+ just in parts and then paint and installation. in terms of light module I think some reconfiguration would have to be done as well. but its been done, so anything is possible.

dang, that is expensive. i've been working with some people overseas to see if i can get those LED euro tails shipped. they're kinda expensive too but at least it's a minor mod for around $400. thanks gang.
