19" Wheel. What tire pressure. Door sticker says 44/45psi. Too much?

Default 19" Wheel. What tire pressure. Door sticker says 44/45psi. Too much?

Door sticker is for full load. I don't carry passengers too often so I prefer the normal load pressures listed in the manual.

look at your gas cap sticker...my says 39psi front and 33psi rear for 255/35/19 tires

Same for me, too. Door sill says 44lb, mapping from the manual that I use is 36lb...

As a consequence of the Firestone/Explorer fiasco, the government now requires manufacturers to place a tag with a single clear recommendation to "avoid confusion"

Okay so my 08 C6 does not have the table showing the PSI based on the load. Went through the manual and it said 39F/33R for 3 people and 45F/44R for 5 people loads. Tomorrow before I drive I will lower to the 39F/33R. Thanks all.
