2005 A6 3.2 engine removal
Can anyone tell me if the engine can be removed from above if the complete front end is off of the car or does it still need to be removed from underneath?

def should be able to remove out the front, I've seen it done on Q7 even....
it does seem a bit quicker to drop the whole engine/trans/subframe with the engine table that dealers get.
