I know I could look around, but was wondering if any of you guys would be kind enough to let me know what is involved and the codes to get the update done to my father's 2005 A6 3.2 Quattro to get rid of the lawyer screen.

Thanks to all (pierreb) who provided info. on this here. I had the surround sound issue, so that's taken care of, but the side benefits are nice:

No lawyer screen

My Razr V3 phonebook now loads with full functionality which it did not before (despite being an "approved" phone on the list).
