I would alos use RECIRC for the reasons you listed. However, the windows will not have condensation on them because the interior moisture will collect on the evaporator and exit the car via the drain. With dryer air in the interior, there is no moisture to plate onto the windshield/windows. That's why the A/C kicks in when you turn on the defroster to clear the windshield/windows.

But if you set the Recirculate to "Auto" in MMI, you should never have to hit the button correct?
