I am looking for 18" winter tires. Obviously, 225/45x18 would be better than my 245/40x18 summer size.

The ones that I would like all only come in lower load factor, not 97.

Will 93 or 91 work (tire rack lists some 95 for the car)?

What are the practical implication using a 1360lb rated vs 1600lb rated tire? Not recommended to load car beyond that weight in 100 degree weather and take her for a 500 mile, 150 mph Autobahn blast?

i would only go 225/45 if u live in a area that gets alot of snow and u have to constantly travel thru it

thinner will cut thru snow and not tend to plow

but with a thinner tire other performance areas will suffer
if u will be traveling on packed snow or pave areas 245/40 will be better
