I put the car on ramps and didn't even have to turn the wheel. I got the below parts from pelicanparts.com. I think I still have the grommet.

Great, so you just swapped the parts and all was good? I don't currently have ramps. Do you think that is necessary if I just turn the wheel? Thanks, and I guess I'll just order these parts to see if it does the trick.

Yes, I just replaced the pump. I had to do it 2x since the seal of the pump was not good the first time around. After replacing the part, pour water into the reservior from the top and see if it leaks out.

It is tight down there. You do need to get behind the wheel to remove the nut holding the liner (there are two). My car is lowered, so there is even less room - you can give it a try and see if you can get those nuts. Once those are removed, you should be fine and not need ramps. You might feel that there is not enough room to replace the pump, but trust me, it is possible and not very hard.

I tried to replace this today and did replace the cheap washer fluid pump and put in the new grommet. It looks like the real problem is that the line connecting to the right angle connector separated at the end.

I wondered if you have any ideas. The first picture shows the right angle connector on the left. This connects to the pump on the right. What's on the top of that image is a bit of the washer hose that split and I cut off. The bottom picture shows the line, which is too tight to fit in order to push the line in. Does anyone know how to do this? Does it have to be heated or something?

How is this supposed to seal as when the washer fluid is full in the reservoir and you fill more from the top (Not knowing it is full) only to see it all drip out of the fill hole in the reservoir where the top pipe attaches...

Thanks much
Same problem on my 06 Avant. Once the tank gets filled and overflows back into the filler neck, it drains right out until the level is below the connection point of the filler neck and the tank. Not sure why they did that from a design standpoint - same thing on my kids Saab but you have to remove the filler neck to change a freakin headlight bulb on that beast which is probably why they didn't bother with any kind of o-ring.

At least I know when the tank is full

After I got out the Bentley and looked at what I had to take apart to even get to the connection, I decided it wasn't worth the effort and I'd live with a little spillage when topping off.
