2006 A6 wagon trailer hitch?
Does anybody know where to get a trailer hitch for an A6 06 wagon? My dealer claims it doesn't exist( although a worlwide audi site claims "Trailer hitch with trailer stabilisation system" in A6 wagon specs, and I can't find it aftermarket anywhere - everybody has a hitch for a sedan only...

I have not yet found a hitch to be specified for the Avant. Have been looking for a couple of years ..Also have not yet taken the chance that the "sedan version" hitch would fit the Avant --although it appears to be close if not identical "under the rear" to accomodate it ? Good luck . Post if you are successful with a solution.

Over here - England, Towsure list the same bar for both avant and saloon (Sedan).....
The only issue is whether the UK/Euro tow-bar will clear the U rear bumper.
The fitment is a standard 50mm ball with a removeable option as an extra.
I beleive they will ship to the US but I would enquire to see what they know about the US bumper first.
