Anyone know if there are any upcoming changed for 06.5 models? Also, Someone on the Edmunds forums mentioned that you could order voice recognition separately but it's not showing up on any of the car sites like edmunds,kbb, etc. Also, how is the paint on the C6s? HAs Audi start using the ceramic clearcoats that MBZ is using?

I'm not impressed with Audi paint, after coming from a Jaguar with zero orange peel and an incredibly thick clearcoat. That said, Mercedes paint is much worse than anything from Audi, regardless of what Mercedes claims it now uses.

I'm not sure about voice recognition being a separate option. I got voice recognition as part of a package and almost never use it.

Which Jaguar and what year? I had an X-type for a whole 2 months (way too long) and the paint was extremely soft!

BMW paint is no better than Audi, both are soft and swirls easily.

Also, voice recognition sucks. It rarely works the first time you give a command and it gets so frustrating, especially during freeway driving, that I opt to manually punch in numbers or commands. Maybe a software reprogram will improve things but until then don't make voice recognition a priority.
