Hello...I am thinking of buying a 2007 A6 S-line with the 350hp 4.2L...My question is do they make many engine performace upgrades for this car? Is there any turbo or Supercharger kits for it? Is the 4.2L prior to '07 easier to upgrade (such as the one in the '06 with 335 hp)...Thanks!
Bottom line question how can I get the most Horsepower out of this car?

Do you seriously want to add a supercharger or turbo on your nice clean stock audi? Why not get an S6 or an Evo for that matter. Either way, the most you can get with the car is a drop in filter and an exhaust. g/l

Thanks for the post! Yes, I really do want to put a turbo or supercharger on my nice clean Audi! The S6 is a little out of my price range and if I wanted an EVO I would buy one.

MTM sells a supercharger for the C6 4.2. It sells for about $20,000 plus installation. Personally I would spend the $20,000 and trade in the 4.2 for the S6.

If I had the $ in the budget I would go for it... but I have other things I am planning to spend $ on (finished basement... landscaping, etc.) that the wifey would be much more receptive to.

The PES supercharger definately has my eye. But like Pete, the wife would probably be much happier if I spent that money around the house.
I personally haven't seen anyone running it yet, but they claim that it's safe for our cars and the auto can handle it. If you end up talking to them, let me know what they say, who knows, maybe next summer I can pick one up. Wife permitting of course.
