Big car to small car ? Roomy cockpit to less-roomy cockpit ?

As another reader mentioned, the vehicles are in the same class (mid-size luxury 4-door sedan), which also includes entries from various other manufacturers including MB, Infiniti, Lexus, Jaguar, Acura, etc. The 535i and A6 4.2 are also similarly priced which means that aside from the fact the cars are in the same class and the engines are within 50 hp of one another, many folks who have never owned a BMW or Audi would likely look at both if they wanted to spend $55-$60K on a new mid-size luxury 4-door sedan.

Had you read the original question and most of the other responses, you'd realize I was not asking which car had more HP. Please enlighten me/us with the differences in "handling, interior, exterior, AWD, and MMI vs idrive".

you came across as too lazy or disinterested to consider some of (never mind all of) the attributes of the cars, and appeared instead to be solely focused on HP comparison.

...followed by an emotional rant and personal attack, how about just answering the question if you have driven both vehicles...if it makes you feel better, I am telling you NOW that I am indifferent to 300hp and 350hp vehicles as both have plenty of power for my tastes. If you have not driven both vehicles, then why are you even posting in this thread if you have nothing constructive to add?
