Default 2007 Audi A6 Strut leak driver side

My strut appears to be leaking and I just put on new sway link bars because I was hear a clink noise everyone I drive over a bumpy road. The sounds still there and I don't know the problem. About the strut I need good OE replacement strut for driver side and passenger side. Should I change only front two because only one is leaking and I can't afford do a suspension swap completely. My main question is which struts to buy not too
Cheap but good quality dealer wants $205 for the strut and how many are necessary to change I can do the front two and do the back later?

$205 sound about right for one. And yes you could do the front first then the rear.

Koni Sport Strut Yellow on ECS Tuning $151.95 each.

Check the bushing on the control arms.

I have heard good reviews about kyb excel g struts on a4, toyota, lexus, honda, acura, etc,. They are good struts. The A6 OEM struts are made by Monroe.

Kyb are stiffer then the Monroe struts. You should also look into kyb agx.
But if your getting a good price, go for it but replace both front struts.

If your gonna do the work yourself, be very careful with the pinch bolts. It is a disaster if they break.

I ran into the pinchbolt problem can't take it out and if it breaks can't I just buy new one from dealer to solve that issue. But first it needs to come out first and I know I don't want to reuse the old one so breaking it would be last option torching drilling im not sure my mechanic would charge me $200 to put the strut in. And pinch bolt replacement I
Might take that route but I'm broke as **** right now
