2008 A6 Avant 3.2 FSI Carbon Deposit Update

Unfortunately a large number of cases are in areas where temperatures are very low,
we start using lubro moly oil 10-60 on 6 and 8 cyl engines and been very happy with the results
on cars that we decarbonate has show noticeable less oil comsumption and minimum carbon deposit.
one of our shop cars have 80k miles with no oil usage or carbon issues so far
unfortunately on colder climates this may not be a good idea
on another note we hardly see 3.2s having the need for clean up yet, unlike the s4 and rs4 engines
