I've been driving and loving my 2008 A6 Avant (3.2 S-line) since 2014, and I recently bought an OEM RS6 rear spoiler from a VW dealership that was clearing out old parts. I'm wondering if anyone has replaced their avant spoiler, and if so, whether the original S-line spoiler is held on by bolts or adhesive from the factory? The replacement RS6 spoiler has no bolt holes and calls for an Audi adhesive kit, which I tracked down. However I would like to know ahead of time the best way to remove the stock spoiler without damaging it, or the car, in the process.

There are several great threads on AW for replacing the 3rd brake light, but if anyone has any insight on the actual spoiler, I would love some advice.
