Changing out the grill makes a world of difference. It is not as if anyone will notice what grill you have on, but rather what it does for the entire appearance of your vehicle. I personally think that S6 and RS6 grills really set the tone in for the A6. I already had S6, so switched out for RS6 which is more aggressive, but really exepnsive too... now I am parting with my S6 grill, which will be a great fit on any pre '09 A6.
