2008 Audi A6 Upper Timing Cover Sealant

I took my car for oil inspection and they told me I need a Bank 1 Upper Timing Cover Sealant. I know bank 1 is passenger side but is Timing Cover Sealant basically valve cover gasket and where do I place the Sealant?

Those covers are sheet steel covers on the back of the cylinder heads. They're just sealed with rtv. Mine leak & I have to do them this coming summer.
