Last night, I noticed for the first time that the light on the hazard flasher button in my 2007 S6 does not immediately extinguish when I exit the car. At first this was unnerving. However, it did turn off after some time but much longer than expected and much longer than the other interior lights. My wife's 2007 Q7 does not behave this way.
Since my 2007 car (MMI version 33.6) was recently updated to the 2008 MMI (version 41.4), I am wondering if this is a "feature" of the new MMI. Would someone with MMI version 41.4 please note how the light on the hazard flasher button operates and advise? I want to know if this is a "call the service department" issue or if this is simply the way the car is supposed to work.
Or, perhaps it was that way all along and I never noticed. I am getting older... :-)
