Default 2010 STASIS A6

I just got my 2010 A6,3.0,back from the dealership after having the STASIS touring package installed;pics coming soon. Its raining in norcal. My A6 is white; I had the stasis wheels powder coated matte black;they look incredible especially with the new lowered stance. I must say,the drive ability is great;better than stock in my opinion. I already had the sport package. The exhaust is not to loud;a little throaty sounding.

What exactly does the Stasis pkg do for the suspension? Just lowering springs?

Wow... That's a joke. I got KW V3 coils for just over that.

My Audi rep told me that Stasis uses H&R springs in their line up... that they do not actually produce the product, rather redistribute it.

I agree,a bit spendy, but its the overall combination that has been refined by the engineering guys;I am happy with the purchase;it drives and feels as good as it looks. You are always going to be able to find a better deal out there, but there is a piece of mind with having a 2010 that going through your dealership provides you with. The 4 year 50000 warranty is worth the high price to me.

Ok, but still, H&R Springs + H&R front sway bar is 496$ from ECSTuning.

Thats a 800$ difference.

You can have this installed at the dealer and the warranty will still be good.

Good if you have money for this, but not me 1295 + install, 1800$?

And for the refining, H&R > Stasis in my opinion... so the products are probably the same, but different color.

Any pics of the car?

Is this 4 years warranty on springs or whole setup? I been young and naive installed H&R springs and Bilstein shocks on my old C4 A6. Shorter springs tilted shock and it twisted cumber plates. I think I changed fourteen of them in six years. Shocks also somehow sucked in water and get frozen ice and leaked oil. So I would not guaranty shocks for more then a year or two.

Needless to say I would never ever ever use non-OEM parts in my suspension.

I agree with you. Pretty cheap for warranty and engineering. Have fun with it.
