2014 A6 wheels fit on 2006 A6 avant?
I have a lead on new audi oem wheels tires from a 2014 a6.
I just got the 06 a6 avant.
The owner doesn't know offset etc but researching online I think these are compatible?
All I know is that they are 18 inch 245/45 continentals on 2014 audi oem wheels.

I think I answered my own question.
2011 and later A6 has the follow specs:
PCD: 5x112
Center Bore: 66.5
Offset: 37
2004-2011 A6
PCD: 5x112
Center Bore: 57.1
Offset: 42
I should be able to use hubcentric rings like these to make the larger bore fit onto 57.1 bore of 2006 A6
I've been running that similar hubcentric rings on a 2007 A4 with no issues (6 months now)
The other question is whether a 5mm difference in offset is tolerable; I think it is?
I used information from this site:
PCD Audi A6 (2004 - 2011) 5x112 wheels | PCD, Offset, Center Bore, mounting and tire size data

For the greater good of AW I wanted to say that I bought the wheel tire package for $750.
They appeared to have just been pulled out of the wrapper. Apparently only 250 miles on them (Conti Pros which I know nothing about but have to be better than the crappy snow tires I got on the used Avant I just bought). Hubcentric rings in the mail and I'll post a report once mounted and driven.

Physically, of course they will fit (use the centering rings).
What do you want to achieve?
what is the width of your present rim, and what is the width of the proposed rim?
Tolerable--is scrub radius important to you? You are almost certainly changing the scrub radius.
btw, on my C6.5 avant, the rims (stock prestige speedlines) are 18x8 ET48.

good pick up on the wheels. @ $750 I'd consider it a steal! Congrats and all I would do is add the hubcentric rings and perhaps get some additional offset to make them look better on the car. another 10 mm would look just right without any issue for rubbing.
enjoy!
enjoy!
