nyc roads are bit harsh imo for my 255/35/19 tires i am thinking of getting 245/40/19 to add some meat to the tire for softer ride
has anybody done this? please input your thoughts/impressions on that size. Most importantly, please post pictures i am concerned the rim will "look" smaller.
Is there any information on how to recode the computer via vag-com to correct the speedometer change?

19" (245-40-19)
Do you know how to recode the wheel diameter through vag-com?
Im gonna have to dig a little on that because OEM for my A6 is 245-40-18. Thats rolling tire diameter of 25.72 in.
245-40-19 are 26.72in in diameter, therefore they spin less frequently which in turn reads to a slower speed reading. So if my speedo will show 60MPH i am actually doing 62MPH.
Then again, if the rumors of audi adding a few MPH to your "speedo speed" is true, i may just offset that and get myself a true GPS speed
