3.0t belt routing diagram
Does anyone have the belt routing diagram or a how to instructional on how to change the accessory belt for the 3.0t engines?
I have mechanical knowledge, but I have to drive an hour to my parents to be able to work on my car. So I would like to be prepared.
What kind of tensioner do they have?
I was reading something about having to take some pulley off to get the accessory belt off?
Thank, I appreciate any insight on this.

For supercharger belt:

For Serpentine belt:

Actually, i am going to be replacing my serpentine belt tensioner tomorrow so i will keep you posted, but basically:
1. Turn your serp belt tensioner with a 17mm to loosen the belt and get it off the tensioner.
2. you can then remove the belt.
3. Before this though, you need to remove the supercharger belt, which sits right in front of the serpentine belt. Same procedure on the supercharger tensioner applies to get that belt off.
Read up those two threads and you will find what you need. One thing i needed to buy was the serpentine belt kit from harbor freight. $17 that will be well worth it because accessing the serpentine belt tensioner bolt is a PITA. The tool is super thin and slides right in without restriction

I just changed the supercharger and serpentine belt on my 2012 Audi A6 3.0t. It has 150,000 miles, and I have had it since 90,000 miles. This is the first time I have changed these belts on this car, and I’m not sure if the previous owner had them changed. Either way, it was time to change them. I feel like a good interval to change them is every 75,000 miles. I made a video of how I did it
It honestly was too bad, it took about 2 hours to do. I hope this can help some people.

Thank you for this bud. This has been on my to-do list for a while.
Oddly enough I bought my 09 Avant with 90k miles and it now has 150k on it as well, and we both live in Pittsburgh. Ok, not that odd, but I found it interesting!
