75k mile service

I have a 08 A6 Avant and just turned 75k. Taking it in for routine oil change in a bit but want to tell mechanic what to look for? Should I do any preventive maintenance?

As for preventative, I'd change the ATF and filter as well as check ALL the control arms and bushings.

Plus onE on ATF and filter. Also Power steering hydraulic fluid flush. VAG Control arms have a built in self destruct mechanisms set for 100k. IMHO, looking at them does little good; you hear when they start to go.
and let's not forget brake fluid every two years.
