if ur looking for general statements i can list a few of what some here would say
Try to go OEM
if ur going to get reps.. use a reputable company
20s is doable 19s are easier ( even seen 21s)
ET40 on 8.5 wide fits different then ET40 on a 9 wide
what coil overs did u get?
what wheels have u seen that u liked?

was thinking a 225/30/20 on a 9 so clearance shouldnt b a problem with the right set up. run a 215/35/16 on a 9 at the moment on the golf but they only 16s. sits low tho.
nedrager. from the side its what im after.. looks soooo good in the bottom photo!
would just like the rim to sit outside the arch abit if possible.
thanks for the info.. just what im after.. anymore people???

the a6 is way heavier then a golf 225 seems extreme .. i wouldn't go less then 245.. i have never heard of anyone doing 235.. a6 requires a tire rated for heavy load.. not sure if they exist in extreme low profile tires
using nedrager as a reference point ...if u want the rim further out u would have to around ET~40 w 9 wide and ET~35 8.5 wide
u cant be as low a nedrager and go wide past the fender and u would prob still need some neg camber
u might find k macs useful

always tuff being a new name on a forum too.
i did mean 225/30/20. my mates A4 in the photo is running 225/35/20 with a 15mm spacer on the rear but didnt think about the weight thing.
heres a photo of my golf and my polo but both light cars..

the golf is on kw coilovers and the polo is on air ride. was thinking kw again for the audi as work well on the golf.
really like the S8 9-spokes (think they came in 8.5 and 9.0 widths) did think about rotiforms but very expensive compaired to OEM secondhand wheels.
always hard getting the right look.
..thanks for all youre info.

My car looks just like that, I love my 18" wheels. Just enough compliance to make the car almost feel soft but enough grip to feel sporty. Besides those 18" wheels in the s-line package are s6 wheels, more or less.

David,
I think for what you're trying to do you should find a wheel that has more ET than you want and then dial it in with spacers. It's better to have a wheel you can actually use in the end, especially when you want to go real low. I would recommend looking at wheels with at least 42 or higher ET.

would love a set of BBS 20x10 Q7 rims but having to use a adapter as wrong fitment im worried they wouldnt fit. know they fit on a RS4 but not sure how the C6 differs in arch width. (theres a set for sale in the uk at the moment!)
really like the rotiform forged 3 piece super concaved NUE but well out of my price range.
http://rotiform.com/products_forged_...oncave_nue.htm
have just had the badges taken of the rear (kept the audi logo) painted the chrome strip on the boot body coloured and colour matched the chrome grill surround so im all de-chromed now. windows and door handles have already been done.
some nice bits on that OEM+ website.![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
...nice jetta btw. almost bought one before i got the audi.
