agreed, my old dealer said they inspected it, and said no replacement necessary. I brought it to another nearby Audi dealer for other reasons, and they replaced them at no charge and I didn't even request it. Also MIL hasn't come back.

Thanks for the replay.
Last week audi dealer replaced all 6 ignition coils.
Still the same problem- misfire cylinder 1 and 3.
How do I check the fuel injectors?

curious....how many miles you have on your 3.2?..
(here in sweden there have been almost every 3.2 2005 year model with cam chain tensioner failures
costing a lot of money to get fixed... )

Almost certainly an issue with carbon deposits in your engine valves. I had the same problem with mine. At first they replaced my spark plugs and coil packs, but the misfires kept occurring...then they finally cleaned my engine valves and I haven't had a CEL since. It's been about a year since the valves were cleaned.
