Hi all,
First time post and first time Audi owner! I have a late 2007 A6 C6 Avant (actually a UK/EUR Allroad but pretty much same interior trim as C6 Avant) and the red LED/bulb within the rear passenger interior door handle is out. I have searched everywhere for any kind of pointers but have found nothing relevant - does this require the entire door panel to be removed or is there a simpler way to get at the bulb itself and check if it's the bulb or a wiring issue?
Thought I'd better ask for some advice before I start prying at stuff!
Thanks in advance,
Marc

Here's a write up I did on replacing the LED background lighting in the door. The photo on step 5 looks like it also shows the connector for the LED in the door handle.

Good luck!

Thanks for the link and the instructions - I'll give it a go and hopefully sort the light out!
Much appreciated,
Cheers,
Marc

Hi all,
Just in case it helps anyone, I followed j_sonel's great write-up and the instructions are exactly the same, including the illusive fifth screw being behind the larger speaker panel for the rear door. The led for the door handle is the white connector block shown towards the bottom of the photograph in step 5, part number 4D0 919 063A and is easily replaced.
Thanks again for the help.
Cheers,
Marc
