Those of you with the Michelin's, do you have the LRR version?

I live in snow/ice country and have nothing but praise for the Dunlop performance winter tires..the M3 is now the D3, Audi's seem to like them..at TR compare 'total' miles driven to get a more accurate rating.

FWIW, I ended up getting the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA-3's. They were slightly cheaper than the Dunlop's, and it sounded like both the Alpin's and the Dunlop's were good options.

Running these on the factory 18's as well... in Germany. I have an '05 3.2Q. My first winter on them can't provide much feedback as yet. I can say that having dedicated winter tires on a quattro is like driving a tank, just unstoppable. My A4 Avant 1.8TQ 6spd had winters and was uber impressive in bad weather.
