Hi guys. I have 4.2 C6 and recently my car was at service and mechanics told me,that computer showed an error code "Coolant fan control module -J293 malfunction intermittent".

I didnt repair this fan control module becaus it was winter and cold weather. And today i just noticed,that one fan (left one) is working.

How can it be? or maybe working was Air conditionier fan and not coolant fan?

Maybe at least someone know in which side is the car A/C fan and in which side is Coolant fan??

Easiest way to tell is to shut off the climate system, or even put in "econ" mode, that should disable the compressor and fan from running.
Se if one fan still runs and one doesn't.

Then turn on the A/C to see if one fan comes on that wasn't on before.

It may not give you all your answers, but it's a place to start.
