Default ABS module bad? Would like second opinion.

Usual suspects - ASC indicator light on, ABS indicator light on, Brake Light indicator flashing, getting parking brake warning symbol in the console display. VAG gives me a total of four codes related to the ABS controller (see below).

Looks like it's time to pull the ABS module and send it off to Module Masters. Or is there something else I should be looking at?

Thx

I've used both MM and cheap-abs. Great luck with both.

But yeah, spend the $250. I think the best way to use MM is to bid on their eBay auction.

If I remember correctly, MM gives you a 5yr warranty, while Cheap-Abs gives you a lifetime warranty. Also, I believe Cheap-Abs is less expensive. Check it out though, my memory may not serve me correct.

Correct, MM is 5yrs. Lifetime sounds great as we now know this issue can come back. Got my module back from MM warranty work and installed today. All back to normal and all lights are gone. Good luck with yours.
