Is it possible to add a shock sensor to the 2005 A6 factory alarm?

So if anyone backs into it or bumps into it will set it off?

Is there already not one? When someone REVERSED INTO MY CAR AND NEVER LEFT A NUMBER it went off .. maybe this is different on US cars?

very different you probable have interior motion sensor and glass breakage sensor we don't have it on US version. Our no alarm is no different then one on a Kia. It monitors doors, bonnet, trunk, and tilt for tow away protection.

Also I think to meet nuisance laws US alarm is very quite and simple chips the lock tone. it really is a big joke. Have you heard the horn on a Honda it alot louder? Or on a Volvo.

I believe it is possible, but haven't read of anyone who has done it on an Audi yet. I bought a DEI shock sensor last year with plans of doing the install, but haven't gotten around to it yet. If you do a search on VWvortex, you'll find several threads on doing this on a VW. One of them:
